The high pressure area from China remains cover upper Thailand and the South China Sea. Colder conditions are forecast for upper Thailand. During 19-24 Dec, the high pressure area will more weaker with increasing temperature by 2-4 C. Morning cool with fog and dense fog in some places are expected for the upper country. The moderate northeast monsoon prevails across the Gulf of Thailand and the South.

On18 Dec, people in the South should beware of the severe weather conditions that cause a possible flash flood. All ships in the Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution and small boat keep ashore. During 19-24 Dec, all vehicles in the upper country should beware of poor visibility.
