General Situation Another strong high-pressure system from China covers the upper Vietnam. It is expected cover the Northeast by tonight (27 December 2018). There will cover upper Thailand from 28 December 2018 to 2 January 2019 while the westerly trough moves to cover the North. Outbreaks of thundershowers and then decreasing temperatures by 5-7 C with cool spells will come following and affect first the Northeast, then the rest.
The strong winds are likely in the Gulf with waves 2-3 meters high. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats in the Gulf keep ashore from 29 December 2018 to 2 January 2019.
