General Situation The high pressure across the Northeast of Thailand and the South China Sea forces the southeasterly wind to bring the humidity to the upper country. The westerly trough moves in to the North and Laos. Outbreaks of thundershowers with gusty winds are forecast for the upper Thailand while the North region will have more thunderstorm chances than any other regions. Isolated heavy rains is also possible. People in the North should beware of the severe conditions, and farmers should beware of crop damage. The northeast monsoon across the Gulf is weakening with less rain over the South.
