During 19-20 January 2019, the moderate high pressure covers upper Thailand. Morning cool and mist are likely over the upper country. The moderate northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the South and cause isolated rain over the South. During 21-24 January 2019, another rather strong high pressure area from China will extend to upper Thailand and the South China Sea and cause drop in temperature by 3-5C with cool to cold weather over upper Thailand. The northeast monsoon prevailing over the Gulf of Thailand and the South are strengthen. More rain is expected over the South with the moderate wind and wave about 2 meters over the lower Gulf and the Andaman Sea.
