General Situation The high pressure across upper Thailand and the South China Sea is weakening, and the westerly trough at high altitude covers the North.

The moderate northeast monsoon prevails across the Gulf of Thailand.

Morning cool, and fog are forecast for upper Thailand, while temperatures decrease by 1-2 C in the North. People should keep healthy due to the changeable weather. The South will get isolated rains with moderate sea about 2 meters high in the lower Gulf. All ships should proceed with caution.

During 22-25 January 2019, another rather strong high pressure will extend to cover upper Thailand. Cool to cold and strong winds are forecast for the upper country with 3-5 C drop in temperature.
