During 21-24 January 2019, another rather strong high pressure area from China will extend to upper Thailand and the South China Sea. Morning cold with strong wind and 2-5C drop in temperature over upper Thailand. The northeast monsoon prevailing over the Gulf of Thailand and the South are strengthen. More rain is expected over the South with the moderate wind and wave about 2 meters over the lower Gulf.
During 25-27 January 2019, the high pressure area covers upper Thailand is weakening. Morning cool and mist are likely over the upper country. The Cold weather remains cover the North and the Northeast, temperature will decrease 1-2 C because the westerly wind of the upper air prevails over the North. The moderate northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the South.

People should beware the variable of weather conditions. All ships over the Gulf of Thailand and the Andaman Sea should proceed with cautions through out of period.
