General Situation The weak high-pressure system covers upper Thailand where the southerly winds prevails across. The weak northeast monsoon also prevails across the Gulf. From 16 to 17 February, the westerly trought will blow in the upper country.
There remains cool in the morning in the North and the Northeast while hot weather will be likely in the afternoon for the upper country. The South still gets less rain. From 16 to 17 February, outbreaks of thundershowers and gusty winds will be possible for the upper country, accompanying with a decrease in temperatures by 1-2 C.
