General Situation The heat low covers upper Thailand while the high pressure covers the upper Northeast and the South China Sea. Outbreaks of isolated thunderstorm with gusty wind and hails will be possible in the Northeast, the East and the South. All people stay safe and keep healthy due to the severe conditions.
The high-pressure system from China will extend to the upper Northeast and the South China Sea until 17 March 2019 while hot weather remains over upper Thailand. Outbreaks of thunderstorms and gusty winds with hail will occur first in the Northeast and the East regions, then the res of the upper half of the country. From 18-19 March, the westerly trough will blow in to the North cause these outbreaks of thunderstorms and gusty winds with hail will expand to the North. People should stay safe by keeping off big trees, unsecured building, and billboards. Farmers should prepare for crop’s damage.
