General Situation The heat low covers upper Thailand while the southerly and southeasterly winds prevail over the upper country. Hot to very hot spell during the day in the upper country with possible thundershowers in some areas of the Northeast, the Central and the East. The easterly wind prevails across the South and cause isolated rain over the areas.
During 23-26 March 2019, another high pressure from China will extend to cover the upper Northeast and the South China Sea while hot weather remains over the country. Thunderstorm with gusty winds and hails are forecast for upper Thailand. People should stay safe from the severe conditions by keeping off from an open area, big trees and unsecured billboards. Farmers are advised to prepare for crop’s damages.
