General Situation The heat low pressure cell covers upper Thailand. Hot during the day is likely upper Thailand. The westerly through move to covers the upper Northeast while the Southerly and the Southeasterly winds prevail over the lower Northeast and the East cause thundershowers with gusty winds are likely in the Northeast and the East. People should stay safe due to the severe conditions by keeping off from an open area, big trees and unsecured billboards. Farmers are advised to prepare for crop’s damages.
During 1–3 Apr 2019, the high pressure area from China will extend to upper Thailand and the South China Sea while hot spells over the country. Thunderstorms with gusty wind and hail will be occur in upper Thailand. The strong southeasterly winds prevails over the South cause more rain with isolated heavy rain in the South.
