The heat low pressure areas cover the upper Thailand cause hot to very hot is likely over the areas throughout of the period. During 3 - 6 May, the high pressure areas from China will extend to the Northeastern Thailand and the South China Sea. The southeasterly winds prevail over upper Thailand while hot spells over the the areas. Summer thunderstorms, thunderstorms with gusty wind and hail, will occur in upper Thailand. The stronger southwesterly winds prevail over the South cause increasing thundershowers are likely in the South. During 7 - 8 May, The southwesterly winds prevail over the country. The Northern and the Northeastern part will decrease in rain. Isolated heavy rain in the South.
The tropical cyclone “FANI” over the Bay of Bengal was moving north–northwest. It is expected to make landfall over upper India and Bangladesh during 3-4 May 2019. The storm does not effect on Thailand.
