General Situation The high-pressure from China covers Vietnam, Laos and the South China Sea. The south and the southeasterly wind prevails over the lower North, the Northeast, the Central and the East while hot to very hot spell covers upper Thailand. Outbreaks of summer storms: thunderstorm gusty winds and hail are over upper Thailand.
Located over the coast of upper India, Tropical Cyclone FANI is moving north-northeast to make landfall over the upper regions of India and Bangladesh from 3-4 May with no effect on Thailand.

Northern Part Hot to very hot. Isolated thunderstorm with gusty winds and hail mostly in Chiang Rai, Phayao,
Nan, Phrae, Sukhothai, Uttaradit, Phitsanulok, Kamphaeng Phet and Phetchabun.

Westerly winds 10-15 km/hr.
Northeastern Part Hot to very hot. Scattered thunderstorm with gusty winds and hail mostly in Bueng Kan, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Mukdahan, Kalasin, Maha Sarakham, Roi Et, Yasothon, Amnat Charoen, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buri Ram, Surin, Si Sa Ket and Ubon Ratchathani.
