General Situation The heat low and the southwesterly winds cover the upper Thailand while the rather strong westerly winds prevail across the Andaman Sea and the South.
Hot spells are likely over the upper country while very hot spells are forecast for some area. There remains thunderstorms with gusts in some places of the North, the Northeast, the Central and the East regions. People keep healthy due to the severe conditions by keeping off unsecured billboards and buildings. Outbreaks of continuous rain will be forecast for the South with some heavy rain expected. The wind waves in the Andaman Sea are forecast 2-3 meters high and more than 3 meters in thundershower areas. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore in the following few days.
From 12-15 May, the high-pressure system from China will cover the Northeast and the South China Sea while the southeasterly winds prevail over upper Thailand. This cause thunderstorms, gust and hail in some areas due to hot spells coving the upper country.

Northeastern Part Hot. Scattered thundershowers and gusty winds mostly in Loei, Nong Bua Lamphu,
Sakhon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom, Khon Kaen, Maha Sarakham, Roi Et, Mukdahan, Amnat Charoen,
Yasothon, Chaiyaphum, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buri Ram, Surin, Si Sa Ket and Ubon Ratchathani.

Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.
Central Part Hot with isolated thundershowers and gusty winds
mostly in Ratchaburi, Kanchanaburi, Suphan Buri, Uthai Thani, Chai Nat, Nakhon Sawan, Lop Buri and Sing Buri.

Eastern Part Hot with scattered thundershowers and gusty winds mostly in Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo,
Chachoengsao, Chon Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat. .

Southern Part (East Coast) Cloudy with scattered thundershowers mostly in Chumphon, Surat Thani,
Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat.
