General Situation The moderate southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea through Thailand to the low cell over Tonkin Bay. The high-pressure system covers Vietnam and the South China Sea. More rains are expected over the country with isolated heavy rains forecast for the North, the Northeast, the Central and the East while hot spells remain over the country. People should beware of the severe condition by keeping off outdoor places, big trees and unsecured buildings. Farmers prepare for crop’s damage.
The moderate wind waves in the Andaman Sea will lift up to about 2 meters high and 2-3 meters high in thundershower areas. All ships should proceed with caution.
