General Situation The strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea and Thailand while the low-pressure cell covers Laos and upper Vietnam. More rain is expected in the country with isolated heavy rain in the North, the Northeast, the East and the South. People in the areas should beware of heavy rains.
The strong winds and waves 2-3 meters high are likely in the Andaman Sea, above 3 meters high in thundershower areas and about 2 meters high in the upper Gulf of Thailand. All ships in the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and small boats in the Andaman Sea keep ashore until 20 June 2019.
