General Situation The monsoon trough lies across Myanmar, Laos and the upper Vietnam while the strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea and Thailand. More rain is expected in the country with isolated heavy to very heavy rain in the Northeast and the East. People in the risk areas should beware of heavy rains and fresh flood during 1-2 days.
The strong winds and waves 2-3 meters high are likely in the Andaman Sea, above 3 meters high in thundershower areas and about 2 meters high in the upper Gulf of Thailand. All ships in the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution and small boats in the Andaman Sea keep ashore until 20 June 2019.
