During 3 - 4 Jul 2019, tropical storm “Mun” covers the bay of Tokin. Expected it will move to the upper Vietnam during 3-4 July while the strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. Forecast for upper Thailand with outbreaks of isolated heavy to very heavy rain for the North, the Northeast, the Central and the East regions while some torrential rain possible for the northeast. The strong wind waves in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand, 2-3 meters over the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand about 2 metes
During 5-9 Jul 2019, the strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand is weakening. Decreasing rain in the coutry and wind wave in the the Andaman Sea about 2 meters high and the Gulf of Thailand 1-2 meters high.
Warning
During 3 - 4 Jul 2019, people in the North, the Northeast, the Central and the East should beware of heavy rains that might cause flash flood. In the Andaman Sea waves 2-3 meters high are likely while the Gulf of Thailand has waves about 2-3 meters high. All ships in Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf should proceed with caution and small boats in the upper Andaman Sea should keep ashore .
