On 4 Jul 2019, tropical storm “Mun” over the bay of Tokin has moved to the upper Vietnam and expected to downgrade to tropical depression and the low pressure. The strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand. Forecast for upper Thailand with outbreaks of isolated heavy rain for the North, the Northeast, the Central and the East regions. The strong wind waves in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand, 2-3 meters over the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand about 2 metes During 5-10 Jul 2019, the strong southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand is weakening. Decreasing rain is likely in the upper country with the wind wave about 2 meters high in the the Andaman Sea and 1-2 meters high in the Gulf of Thailand.

On 4 Jul 2019, people in the North, the Northeast, the Central and the East should beware of heavy rains that might cause flash flood. In the Andaman Sea waves 2-3 meters high are likely while the Gulf of Thailand has waves about 2-3 meters high. All ships in Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf should proceed with caution and small boats in the upper Andaman Sea should keep ashore
