General Situation The strong southwest monsoon prevails across the upper Andaman Sea and Thailand. Isolated heavy to very heavy rains are possible for the South and the East while the rest area less rain. People should beware of severe condition that may cause flash flood and water runoff.

The strong winds raise the waves up to 2-3 meters high in the Andaman Sea and about 2 meters high in the Gulf but more than 3 meters high in thundershower areas. All ships take more caution and keep off thundershowers, and small boats keep ashore lasting 21 July.

Southern Part (West Coast) Very cloudy with fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rain in Ranong,

Phangnga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun.
