General Situation The monsoon trough lies across Myanmar , the upper North, Laos and upper Vietnam to the low pressure cell over the Tokin bay. The strong southwest monsoon still prevails across the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand.

Isolated heavy to very heavy rains with gusty winds remains along the North, the western Central, the East and the western South regions. People should beware of the severe conditions that may cause flash flood and possible landslides. The strong winds rise the waves up to 2-4 meters high in the Andaman Sea, 2-3 meters in the upper Gulf and more than 4 meters in thundershower areas. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers, and small boats keep ashore.

Northern Part Fairly widespread thundershowers with strong winds and isolated heavy to very heavy rain in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Lamphun, Lampang and Tak.

Eastern Part Very cloudy with scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in Chanthaburi and Trat.

Wave height 2-3 meters and above 3 meters in thundershower areas.

Southern Part (East Coast) Very cloudy with scattered thundershowers mostly in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan,

Chumphon, Surat Thani and Nakhon Si Thammarat.
