General Situation The monsoon trough lies across Myanmar, and upper Laos and Vietnam to the active low pressure cell over the upper South China Sea. The strong southwest monsoon still prevails across the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the upper Gulf of Thailand. Isolated heavy rains are possiple in the North, western the Central and the East. People should beware of the severe conditions that may cause flash flood over the areas.

The strong winds rise the waves up to 2-3 meters high in the Andaman Sea, above 3 meters in thundershower areas and about 2 meters in the upper Gulf. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers, and small boats keep ashore throughout the period.

Tropical storm ‘Francisco’ over the southern Japan and South Korea. Depression over northwest, Bay of Bengal off north Odisha, India-West gengal coasts or latitude 20.8 degree north and and longitude 87.6 degree east.
