During 8 - 11 Aug 2019, The strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea Thailand and the Gulf of Thailand with the monsoon trough lies across Myanmar, upper Laos and Vietnam to the active low pressure cell over the upper South China Sea. Rainfall is continue in the country with isolated heavy to very heavy rain in the western part of Central, the East and the South. The strong wind and waves are likely 2-3 meters in the Andaman Sea, about 2 meters in the upper Gulf and above 3 meters in thundershowers. During 12 – 14 Aug 2019, The southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea Thailand and the Gulf will weaken while the weak monsoon trough lies across the Myanmar, upper Laos and Vietnam . Decreasing rainfall in the country while isolated heavy rain remains in the East and the South west. The wind waves are likely about 2 meters in the Andaman Sea, 1-2 meters in the upper Gulf and above 2 meters in thundershowers.

During 8 – 11 Aug 2019, people in the western part of the Central, the East and the South should beware of severe condition. All ship should proceed with caution, keep away from thundershowers and small boats keep ashore in this period.
