General Situation The monsoon trough lies across Myanmar to the low-pressure cell over the upper Laos and Vietnam. The strong southwest monsoon still prevails across the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand.
In spite of less rain over the country, isolated heavy falls remains possiple over the East and the South region. People should beware of the severe conditions that may cause flash flood and water runoff. The strong winds rise the waves up to 2-3 meters high in the Andaman Sea, above 3 meters in thundershower areas and about 2 meters in the upper Gulf. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers, and small boats keep ashore.
