During 9 - 11 Aug 2019, The monsoon trough lies across Myanmar and Laos to the active low pressure cell over upper Vietnam while the strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea the South and the Gulf of Thailand. Rainfall is continue in the country with isolated heavy to very heavy rain. The strong wind and waves are likely 2-3 meters in the Andaman Sea, above 4 meters in thundershowers and 2-3 meters in the upper Gulf. During 12 – 15 Aug 2019, the weak monsoon trough lies across the Myanmar, upper Laos and Vietnam. The strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea the South and the Gulf. Decreasing rainfall in the country while isolated heavy rain remains in the East and the South west. The storng wind waves are likely 2-3 meters in the Andaman Sea, above 3 meters in thundershowers and about 2 meters in the upper Gulf.

During 9 – 11 Aug 2019, people in the western part of the Central, the East and the South should beware of severe condition. All ship should proceed with caution, keep away from thundershowers and small boats keep ashore throughout the period.
