General Situation The monsoon trough lies across Myanmar, Laos and upper Vietnam. The moderate southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the upper Gulf of Thailand. Thundershowers remains over the whole country with isolated heavy rain in the North, the upper Northest and the East while less rain in the South. People should beware of the severe conditions that may cause flash flood and water runoff.
The wind waves are likely about 2 meters high in the Andaman Sea, above 2 meters in thundershower areas and 1-2 meters in the upper Gulf. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.
