During 14 – 17 Aug 2019, the moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea the South and the Gulf. Thundershowers are likely over the country with isolated heavy rain remains in the North, the upper Northeast and the South west coast. The moderates wind waves are likely about 2 meters in the Andaman Sea, above 2 meters in thundershowers and 1-2 meters in the upper Gulf. During 18 – 20 Aug 2019, the southwest monsoon will weaken and cause less rain over the country. The wind and wave in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf will weaken with 1-2 meters high in the Andaman Sea and about 2 meters high in thundershowers.
