Weather Forecast:. During 17 – 19 Aug 2019, the weak southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. Less rain is likely over Thailand but remain isolated heavy rain in the upper North. The weak wind waves are likely 1- 2 meters in the Andaman Sea, about 2 meters in thundershowers. During 20-22 Aug 2019, monsoon trough lies across the North and the upper Northeast of Thailand. The southwest monsoon prevailing over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf will stronger. These cause more rain over the country and isolated heavy rain in the North, the upper Northeast and the South west coast. The moderates wind waves are likely about 2 meters in the Andaman Sea, above 2 meters in thundershowers and 1-2 meters in the upper Gulf.
