Weather Forecast During 23 – 24, monsoon trough lies across the upper North to the low-pressure in the upper Vietnam. Meanwile, the moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand, and the upper Gulf. Thundershowers are likely over the country with isolated heavy rain in the North, the Northeast, the East and the South. The wind and waves are expected 1 - 2 meters high over the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf and about 2 meters high in thundershowers. During 25 - 29 Aug 2019, the monsoon trough will move to lie across the North and the upper Northeast including the southwest monsoon will strengthen. Thundershowers remains over the whole country while more rains are likely in the South (west coast). The moderate wind waves in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf are about 2 meters and above 2 meters high in thundershower areas.
Tropical storm “Bailu” over the Pacific Ocean is expected to move to the east coast of China. Travelors should check the weather forecast before departure.
Warning People in the North, the upper Northeast, the Central, the East, and the South (west coast) should beware of severe condition. All ship should proceed with caution, keep away from thundershowers through out the period.
