General Situation The monsoon trough lie across the North and the upper Northeast to the low-pressure cell over Laos and Vietnam while the strong
southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea, the South, and the upper Gulf. Thundershowers remain over the country with isolated heavy rains forecast for the North, the Northeast, the East, and the South (west coast) regions. People in risk area including lowland should brace for the severe conditions that may cause flash flood and water runoff.
The winds waves are likely 2-3 meters high in the upper Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf with above 3 meters high in thundershower areas.
All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershowers.
Tropical Storm “PODUL” over the Phippins is moving westnorthwestward to the South China Sea.
