General Situation The monsoon trough lies across the North and the upper Northeast to the tropical storm “KAJIKI” category 3 over Hue, the coast of central Vietnam. The strong southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf.

Thundershowers will be likely much of the country and also isolated heavy rains are possible. Torrential rains will be forecast for the Northeast and the East. People in risk area including the lowland near the water flow should brace for the severe conditions that may cause flash flood and water runoff. The winds waves are likely 2-3 meters high in the upper Andaman and the upper Gulf and above 3 meters high in thundershower areas. All ships should proceed with caution, keep off thundershowers, and small boats keep ashore.

At 04.00 a.m. the tropical storm “KAJIKI” category 3 over Hue, the coast of central Vietnam was moving southwest slowly. Travelers stay tuned for the weather updated. Another tropical storm Ling Ling due east of the Phillipines trend to move east of Taiwan, China with no effect for Thailand.

Northern Part Very cloudy with fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain in Chiang Rai, Phayao, Lampang,

Phrae, Nan, Uttaradit, Phitsanulok, Phichit, Phetchabun, Tak, Sukhothai and Kamphaeng Phet.

Minimum temperature 22-24 C. Maximum temperature 31-33 C.

Northeastern Part Very cloudy with fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy to very heavy rain

in Loei, Nong Bua Lamphu, Udon Thani, Nong Khai, Bungkan, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom,

Mukdahan, Yasothon, Kalasin, Khon Kaen, Chaiyaphum, Nakhon Ratchasima, Maha Sarakham,

Roi Et, Amnat Charoen, Buri Ram, Surin, Si Sa Ket and Ubon Ratchathani.

Minimum temperature 22-24 C. Maximum temperature 25-29 C.

Southwesterly winds 10-20 km/hr.

Central Part Cloudy with scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rain

in Ratchaburi, Kanchanaburi, Uthai Thani, Nakhon Sawan, Chai Nat, Lop Bur and Saraburi.

Minimum temperature 23-24 C. Maximum temperature 30-33 C.

Southwesterly winds 10-25 km/hr.

Eastern Part Very cloudy with fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain

in Nakhon Nayok, Prachin Buri, Chachoengsao, Sa Kaeo, Chon Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat.

Minimum temperature 24-26 C. Maximum temperature 28-33 C.

Southwesterly winds 20-40 km/hr.

Wave height 2-3 meters and above 3 meters in thundershower areas.

Southern Part (East Coast) Cloudy with scattered thundershowers mostly in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon and Surat Thani.

Minimum temperature 22-25 C. Maximum temperature 29-33 C.

Southwesterly winds 20-35 km/hr.

Wave height about 2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershower areas.

Southern Part (West Coast) Very cloudy with fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rain

in Ranong, Phangnga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun.

Phuket northward: Southwesterly winds 20-40 km/hr.
