General Situation The monsoon trough lies across the North and the upper Northeast to the category 2 storm KAJIKI over the South China Sea. The strong southwest monsoon prevails across the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf.

Isolated heavy rains are possible for the North, the Northeast, the Central, the East and the South (west coast). People in risk area including the lowland near the water flow should brace for the severe conditions that may cause flash flood and water runoff. The winds waves are likely 2-3 meters high in the upper Andaman and the upper Gulf and above 3 meters high in thundershower areas. All ships should proceed with caution, keep off thundershowers, and small boats keep ashore.

At 1.00 a.m. KAJIKI over the South China Sea was moving north-northeast slowly to the upper South China Sea while LING LING category 4 northeast of the Phillipines was expected to strengthen as category 5 and move to the East China Sea. Travelers stay tuned for the weather updated.
