7 - 9 Sep, the monsoon trough lies across Myanmar and upper Laos to the active low cell over the upper South China Sea. During 10 - 12 Sep, the monsoon trough lies across the upper North, and upper Laos. While the moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf throughout the period. Isolated heavy rain is forecast for Thailand. The moderate winds waves are likely about 2 meters high in the upper Andaman and the upper Gulf and above 2 meters high in thundershower areas. All ships should proceed with caution, keep off thundershowers.
Typhoon category 5 “LINGLING” over the East China Sea is moving to the North. Expected, it will move to Korea during 7 - 8 Sep, 2019. Travelers should stay tuned for the weather updated.
