More rains are likely upper Thailand with isolated heavy rain. The wind and wave in the upper Andaman and the upper Gulf will strengthen, The wind and wave are likely 1-2 meters high in the upper Andaman and the upper Gulf and above 2 meters high in thundershower areas. During 15 - 17 Sep, the monsoon trough lies across the Central, the lower Northeast and the East. The rather strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, Thailand and the Gulf. Thundershowers are expected over in the Central, the East and the South with isolated heavey rains. The wind and wave in Andaman Sea are 2-3 meters high and above 3 meters high in thundershower areas.
