During 16 - 17 Sep, the monsoon trough lies across the Central and the East to the low cell over Cambodia. The strong southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf. Abundant rain with isolated heavy rain are expected over the East and the South. The strong wind and waves are likely 2-3 meters high in the upper Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf. During 18 - 22 Sep, the monsoon trough will move up to lie across the lower North and the Northeast to the low cell over Cambodia. More rains are forecast for the lower North, the Norhteast and the Central with isolated heavy rain. The moderate southwest monsoon prevails over the Andaman Sea, the South and the Gulf. Continue rainfall with isolated heavy rain remain in the South and the East. The moderate wind and waves are likely about 2 meters high in the Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf with above 2 meters high in thundershowers.

During 16 - 18 Sep, people in the East and the South should beware of severe condition. All ships in the Andaman Sea should proceed with caution, keep off thundershowers and small boat should keep ashore the lasting 19 Sep 2019.
