General Situation The weaker high-pressure system covers the country and the South China Sea. Still, the easterly wind prevails across the Gulf
and the Andaman Sea. Isolated rains are forecast for the upper country while continuous rain is likely over the South. The wind waves in lower Gulf will be likely 1-2 meters high and more than 2 meters in thundershower areas. All ships should proceed with caution.
Typhoon “MITAG” over the Pacific is moving northwest. It is expected to move to Taiwan and eastern China from 30 September to
2 October 2019. Travelers stay tuned for the weather updated. This storm has no effect on Thailand.
