General Situation Another moderate high pressure from lower China extends to cover upper Laos, upper Vietnam and the South China Sea. It is expected to reach upper Thailand from 25-28 October. Outbreaks of thundershowers will be likely in the upper country with gusty wind in the North and the Northeast, before decreasing temperatures. People in the North and the Northeast should beware of gusty wind. The northeast monsoon across the Gulf will intensify with increasing rainfalls likely along the South. Torrential rainfalls are also possible in some places of the South while the wind-waves in the Gulf will be moderate. People in the south should beware of the severe condition that may cause flash flood and water runoff.
Category 5 Typhoon BUALOI around the Pacific is moving northeast closer to Japan. This storm has no affect on Thailand, and stay tuned for the weather updated.
