General Situation The rather strong high pressure covers the North and the Northeast with cool to cold weather, decreasing temperatures by 3-5 degree Celsius and strong wind while the Central including Bangkok and its vicinity, and the East have decreasing temperatures by 1-3 degree Celsius with strong winds. People should keep healthy due to the changeable weather, and stay tuned for the weather updated.
The northeast monsoon across the Gulf and southern Thailand will intensify with thundershower in the South. The moderate winds will rise up the waves up to 2 meters in the Gulf of Thailand from Surat Thani upward, about 1-2 meters high from Nakhon Si Thammarat southward, and above 2 meters in thundershowers. People in the South should beware of the severe conditions. All ships should proceed with caution and keep off thundershower.
At 10.00 p.m. of 31 October, the tropical depression MATMO, category 2 has downgraded into the category 1, active low pressure cell, in Cambodia. It was due to about 70 kilometers south of Sisaket province. This is moving west-northwestward and further downgrade is also forecast. It will affect the lower Northeast, the East, the lower Central, and the upper South with thundershower and strong wind in some areas. People should beware of the severe conditions and stay tuned for the weather updated.
