General Situation The moderate high-pressure system still covers upper Thailand. Morning cool will be likely in the area while fair sky and sunny weather is forecast during the day. The North and the Northeast plains have the minimum temperature 16-22 degrees Celsius and on mountaintops are cold to very cold with minimum temperature 4-10 degrees Celsius. People stay safe and keep healthy.
The rather strong northeast monsoon prevails across the Gulf of Thailand. The lower south still has heavy rain in some areas. People in the South east coast should beware of the accumulated rainfall. In the upper Gulf of Thailand from Surat Thani upward, the waves are 1-2 meters high, in the lower Gulf from Nakhon Si Thammarat downward about 2 meters high, and in thundershowers more than 3 meters high. People along the South east coast should beware of inshore surges. All ships should proceed with caution, and small boats keep ashore.
Another strong high-pressure system from China covers upper Laos and Vietnam. It is forecast to cover the upper Northeast of Thailand on 2 December. Cool to cold with windy conditions will be likely by temperatures decreasing by 5-10 degrees Celsius in the north and northeast. The Central including Bangkok and its vicinity, and the East, will be cool and windy while the temperatures will decrease by 4-6 degrees Celsius. The northeast monsoon across the Gulf slightly decreases and brings about the rather strong wind-waves in the Gulf.
