Weather Forecast The strong high pressure areas covers upper Thailand and South China Sea throughout the period while during 7-9 Dec, another strong high pressure will extend to cover the upper country. Decreasing temperature by 8-10C and windy with the minimum temperature 6-16C are likely in the North and the Northeast while cold to very cold with isolated frost on mountaintops minimum temperature 1-9 C. Decreasing temperature by 6-8C with windy is likely in the Central and the East. Less rain is forecast in the South. The strong northeast monsoon prevails across the Gulf of Thailand and the South. The wind wave in the lower Gulf is 2-4 meters high and above 4 meters high throughout the period.
Typhoon “KAMMURI” over Philippines, It is expected move pass into the middle South China Sea during 3-5 December 2019 after that downgrade and no effect to Thailand.
Warning
Residents along the Gulf’s shore should watch for inshore surges. All ships should proceed with caution and small boats should keep ashore throughout the period. People in upper Thailand should be careful of their health due cold weather.
