During 16 - 22 Dec, the high pressure area covering upper Thailand will weaken and cause increasing temperature by 2-4C with morning fog and isolated dense fog. Cool weather remains in the the North and the Northeast with the minimum temperature 16-23C is forecast in this area while cold to very cold on mountaintops, minimum temperature 5-15 C.
During 16 - 18 Dec, The moderate northeast monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the South and cause more rain and wind waves rise up to 1 - 2 meters high from Nakhon Si Thammarat southward. During 19 - 22 Dec, The northeast monsoon will weaken with less rain and the weak wind and waves over the Gulf and the Andaman Sea.

People in upper Thailand should be careful of their health due to the changeable weather and beware of fog and dense fog All ships in the lower South should proceed with caution during 16 - 18 Dec 2019.

Eastern Part Partly cloudy with morning fog and isolated dense fog. Increasing temperature by 2-4C throughout the period.

Southern Part (East Coast) During 17 - 18 Dec, isolated to scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rain mostly in the lower part.
From Surat thani northward: Northeasterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter high.
From Nakhon Si Thammarat southward: Easterly winds 15-35 km/hr.
Wave height 1- 2 meters high and about 2 meters high in thundershowers area.
During 19 - 22 Dec, isolated to scattered thundershowers mostly in the lower part.
Northeasterly winds 15-30 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meters high and about 2 meters high in thundershowers area.
Minimum temperature 21-25C. Maximum temperature 32-35C.
Southern Part (West Coast) Isolated to scattered thundershowers throughout the period.
Northeasterly wind 15-35 km/hr. Wave height about 1 meter and 1 – 2 meters high offshore.
Minimum temperature 23-25C. Maximum temperature 31-33C.
Metropolitan Partly cloudy with morning fog. Increasing temperature by 2-4C throughout the period.
Minimum temperature 23-25C. Maximum temperature 33-35C.
