General Situation The ridge of high-pressure remains over Laos, Vietnam and the South China Sea while the low pressure cell still covers the lower South China Sea.
Morning fog and cool to cold weather remains in the upper country while fair sky is likely during the day. The North and the Northeast have the minimum temperatures ranging 14-21 C, and the mountaintops are cold to very cold with the minimum temperatures in range of 6-15 C. All transport should proceed with caution in foggy areas. In the South, more rains are forecast with heavy rainfalls in some part of provinces: Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. People in the south should beware of heavy condition that may cause flash flood and water runoff. In the lower Gulf from Surat Thani southwards, the winds rise the waves up about 2 meters high and more than 2 meters high in thundershowers. All ships should proceed with caution.
