During 19 - 20 Dec, the weak high pressure area covering upper Thailand and cause morning fog. Cold to cool weather remains in the North and the Northeast with the minimum temperature 14-23C is forecast in this area while cold to very cold on mountaintops, minimum temperature 6-15 C. The southwest monsoon prevails over the Gulf and the South while the low pressure cell over Malaysia will move to the lower South. More rain with isolated heavy rain is likely over the lower South. The moderate wind and waves from Surat Thani southward are rise up to about 2 meters high and above 2 meters high in thundershowers During 21 - 25 Dec, another high pressure will extend to upper Laos, upper Vietnam and the South China Sea while the westerly trought in the upper level will move to cover the North and the Northeast cause these areas decreasing temperature by 2-4 C in the areas.
The active low pressure area overs Pacific Ocean. It is forecast develop and move to the South China Sea during 24-25 Dec 2019.
Warning
People in upper Thailand should be careful of their health due to the changeable weather and beware of fog. All ships in the lower South should proceed with caution during 18 - 20 Dec 2019.
