During 27 Dec 2019 – 2 Jan 2020, the rather strong high pressure areas from China will extend to upper Thialand while during 27 - 29 Dec 2019 the upper westerly trough is expected to moves through the the upper part of North and Northeast. A decreasing temperature with strong wind will be likely over the upper country, decreasing in temperature by 2-4 C is likely in the North and the Northeast with the minimum temperature 10-18C while cold to very cold, isolated frost on mountaintops with the minimum temperature 1-11 C, decreasing in temperature by 1-3C is forecast for the Central, the East and Bangkok and its vicinity. Isolated rain during 27 - 29 Dec 2019 are likely in the North.
The northeast monsoon will strengthen with more rain in the lower South. The moderate wind and waves of the southward of Nakhon Si Thammarat is likely about 2 meters and above 2 meters in thundershower area.
Typhoon “Phanfone” covers the middle South China Sea or the westward of Phillipine is forecast it will be weaken and move to near the Haicau, China during 28 - 29 Dec 2019. This storm is no effect on Thailand.

Northern Part During 27 - 29 Dec, isolated rain in the first.
After that decreasing in temperature by 2-4C with Cool to cold.

Cold to very cold on mountaintops, minimum temperature 3-10C. Northeasterly wind 10-20 km/hr.
During 30 Dec 2019 – 2 Jan 2020, Decreasing in temperature by 1-2C. Cool to cold with strong wind.
Minimum temperature 10-18C. Maximum temperature 27-31C.
Cold to very cold on mountaintops with isolated frost, minimum temperature 1-11C. Northeasterly wind 10-30 km/hr.

Nakhon Si Thammarat southward: Wave height about 2 meters and above 2 meters high in thundershowers area.
Easterly winds 20-35 km/hr.

Southern Part (West Coast)
Isolated thundershowers throughout the period.
