General Situation The moderate high-pressure system covers upper Thailand and the South China Sea. Cool weather remains with light fog in the upper country. The plains in the North and the Northeast have cool weather with the minimum temperatures in range of 17-21 degrees Celsius. Mountaintops are cold to very cold with minimum temperatures in range of 7-15 degrees Celsius. People in the North should beware of thundershowers and gusty wind.
The strong easterly wind prevails across the lower Gulf and the lower South of the country. In the lower Gulf from Nakhon Si Thammarat southward, the strong wind rises the waves up to about 2 meters high. All ships take more cautions.
