General Situation The weakening high-pressure system covers the Northeast and East of Thailand and the South China Sea while the westerly trough at high altitude prevails across Myanmar and northern Thailand with cold air from the Himalayas. There remains morning cool weather with fog in the upper country, and during the day sunny sky is likely. All transport should proceed with caution in foggy area. The plains in the North and the Northeast have the minimum temperatures in range of 16-21 degrees Celsius. Mountaintops are cold to very cold with minimum temperatures in range of 5-15 degrees Celsius. The Central and the East regions have the minimum temperatures in range of 20-24 degrees Celsius. The easterly wind prevails across the lower Gulf and the lower South of the country, and isolated rain is forecast for the South.
