During 15-16 Jan, the weake high pressure area covers the Northeast and the South China Sea while the westerly wind in the upper air is still cover the North that leads to cool to cold in the North and the Northeast, cold to very cold on mountaintops with isolated frost, minimum temperature 5-14C. The Southeasterly wind covers the East and the Central with the humidity from the Gulf of Thailand, which causes isolated light rain. During 17-21 Jan, another moderate high pressure area from China will extend to cover the Northeast and the South China Sea while the westerly wind in the upper air prevails over the North. These cause temperature drop 1-2C, and cool to cold is likely in the North and the Northeast, cold to very cold on mountaintops with isolated frost, minimum temperature 3-12C. The easterly wind prevail over the lower South is stronger that leads to increasing rain in this area. The wind wave 1-2 meters are likely in the lower Gulf of Thailand and about 2 meters in the thundershowers.

During 15-16 Jan, people in upper Thailand should be careful of poor visibility. During 17-21 Jan, all ships should proceed with cautions over thundershowers in the lower Gulf of Thailand.
