Weather Forecast During 17-18 Jan, another moderate high pressure area from China extends to cover the Northeast and the South China Sea while the westerly wind in the upper air prevailling over the North causes cool to cold with 1-2?C drop in the North and the Northeast. Cold to very cold is on mountaintops with isolated frost, minimum temperature 1-13?C. During 19-23 Jan, the high pressure will weaken with slight rising temperature in the Northeast. The southeasterly winds prevail over the East and the Central including Bangkok and its vincinity with isolated thundershowers while during 19-21 Jan, the westerly trough will make isolated thundershower, gusty wind and hail after that during 22-23 Jan, temperature will drop 1-2 C.
During 19-22 Jan, the easterly wind over the lower South will be stronger leading to more rain. The wind wave about 2 meters are likely in the lower Gulf of Thailand.
Warning During 17-23 Jan, people in upper Thailand should be careful of their health due to the changeable weather. During 19-21 Jan, people in the upper North should be careful gusty wind and hail. During 19-22 Jan, all ships in the lower Gulf of Thailand should proceed with caution.
