General Situation The moderate high-pressure system from China covers the upper northeast and the South China Sea while the westerly trough at high altitude brings the cold air from the Himalayas to the North of Thailand. The plains of the North and the Northeast are cool to cold in the morning with decreasing temperatures by 1-2 C and minimum temperatures in range of 14-21 C. The mountaintops are cool to cold with minimum temperature ranging 2-14 C. People in the North and the Northeast keep warm and stay safe. The easterly wind prevails over the South and the lower Gulf of Thailand, leading to outbreaks of thundershowers for the lower South.
Dust situation: In the central region including Bangkok and its vicinity, light winds blowing around the area will make an accumulation of dust.
