During 31 Jan - 1 Feb, another high-pressure system covers upper Thailand and the South China Sea. Cool to cold is likely over the North and the Northeast. Cold to very cold is expected on the mountaintops minimum temperature 3-15C. Morning cool is likely in the Central, the East, including Bangkok Metropolis and Vicinity. The strengthening easterly winds prevails over the South cause more rain in the South. During 2 - 6 Feb, the high-pressure system that covers upper Thailand and the South China Sea will be weakening. Cause rising in temperature 1-3C with morning fog and isolated thick fog over upper Thailand. The westerly trough covers the North while cool to cold weather remains in the North and the Northeast. The easterly winds that prevails over the South will be weakening, it could be causing less rain in the South. The moderates wind wave is 1- 2 meters high in the lower South from Songkla southward throughout the period.

During 31 Jan – 1 Feb, people in upper Thailand should keep healthy due to the changeable weather. During 2 – 6 Feb, people in upper Thailand should be careful of poor visibility. All ships should proceed with cautions in the lower South throughout the period.
