General Situation The westerly trough covers the North and the upper Northeast. There remains cool to cold with minimum temperatures in range of 11-22 C in the North and the Northeast. On the mountaintops, cold to very cold weather remains forecast with minimum temperatures in range of 5-15 C. The weak high-pressure system covers upper Thailand cause morning fog in the areas. People in the North and the Northeast keep healthy, and all transports should take extra caution due to the poor visibility. The easterly wind across the South causes isolated rain over the South.
Dust situation: In the central region including Bangkok and its vicinity, the weak easterly wind across this area causes more accumulation of dust/smog and isolated rain. In the North, more accumulation in the morning but afternoon is expected due to bad ascending of air-parcel.
